1. An open beta
vitrines is free during the open beta. Features, limits and the service itself may change. We do not offer a service-level agreement or uptime commitment, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or incidents. Keep your own copies of the source files you publish. If we decide to close the service, we will announce it on the site and by email and aim to give at least 30 days to download your work. If paid plans are introduced, nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Use an email address you control and keep your password, tokens and connected assistants secure. You are responsible for activity through your account, including actions taken by assistants and tokens you authorise.
- Tell us promptly at hello@vitrines.dev if you believe your account has been compromised.
- You can delete your account at any time from Account, or ask us to by writing to hello@vitrines.dev. Deletion is described in the Privacy policy.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the documents, prototypes, files and comments you put into vitrines (“your content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, render, create previews and thumbnails of, and transmit your content, only as needed to run the service for you and for the people you share it with. The licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies in backups until they expire.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to publish your content and that publishing and sharing it is lawful. If your content contains personal data about other people, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to share it; we process that data on your behalf.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use vitrines to publish, share or do any of the following:
- Phishing, pages that imitate another organisation’s sign-in or payment flows, or anything that collects credentials or payment details under false pretences.
- Malware, exploits, cryptocurrency miners or code designed to attack visitors, other services or vitrines itself.
- Content that is illegal where you or your viewers are, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content and content infringing someone else’s intellectual property or privacy.
- Harassment, threats, spam, or deceptive impersonation of a person or organisation.
- Attempts to bypass access controls, sandboxing, rate limits or usage limits, or to access other people’s workspaces, accounts or data.
- Using vitrines as general-purpose file hosting or a content delivery network for unrelated websites, or reselling access.
- Embedding secrets you are not entitled to share, such as other people’s passwords, API keys or tokens.
5. Sharing
Projects start private. You decide who sees your content: people you invite, and anyone who has a public link you create. A public link works for anyone who has it until you stop it. Comments and later drafts stay private unless you release them. You are responsible for who you share with.
6. Reports and enforcement
Anyone can report content they believe is illegal or breaks these terms, as described on the Contact page. To protect people and the service we may review reported content, disable public links, remove content, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law. When we act on your content or account, we will tell you what we did and why, and how to dispute it, unless the law prevents this or it would put people at risk. You can dispute a decision by replying to that message or writing to hello@vitrines.dev.
7. Assistants and integrations
When you connect an AI assistant or use a token, that tool acts with the access you approved. Third-party assistants and services are governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for what they do with content you let them read.
8. Disclaimers and liability
During the beta the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to €50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Ending use
You can stop using vitrines and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access under section 6, or if we close the service under section 1. Sections 3 (for backups), 8 and 10 continue to apply after your account ends.
10. Changes and your rights
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email or in the product before they take effect. These terms do not remove any rights you have under the mandatory consumer or data protection law of the country where you live.
